LOGIN

A user can Login into the system by following the steps below:

1.    User enters their Prophius email address

2.   User enters their Prophius password

3.   User clicks Login

4.   Login successful

A user can reset their password by following the steps below:

1. User clicks on Forgot Password
2. User enters their registered email address
3. User clicks “send Password Reset email”
4. Password reset link is sent to the email
5. User types in the new password
6. User confirms the new password
7. User clicks “save password”
8. Password reset successful
9. User is returned to login screen to log into the portal with new password.

The user can view the following on the dashboard:

1. Total Transaction Volume
2. Total Transaction Amount
3. Total Number of Merchants
4. Top Performing Merchants
5. Transaction Graph of Successful vs Failed Transaction
6. Merchant graph of Active and Inactive Merchants
7. Transaction Breakdown
8. Payment Application Statistics Graph showing Live Applications, Active Applications, Activated Applications and In-Active Applications.
9. User can also filter by date ranges to view transactions between certain periods.

The user can view the following details of the Merchant List on the Merchant page:

1. Merchant ID
2. Merchant Name
3. Region
4. Sub-region
5. Registration Date

For further information on a particular merchant, the user should click on the “open” button in front of the merchant’s row.

The following are the additional information that can be viewed and actions that can be performed:

1. The merchant’s dashboard, which contains their business information, personal contact information, merchant ID, Device ID, Acquirer ID, Region, Date Created, Subregion, Total Transaction Volume, Total Transaction Amount.
2. The list of the Merchant’s outlets, admins and other staff
3. Ability to edit the merchant’s contact information
4. Ability to create new outlets
5. Ability to disable merchant
6. Ability to delete merchant

For more details about a particular outlet under a Merchant, the user should click the open button on that outlet’s row. This will reveal the following:

1. Name of branch/outlet
2. Location
3. Ability to edit outlet
4. Ability to disable outlet
5. List of store attendants
6. Transaction History of that outlet
7. Ability to add attendant to that outlet either by creating a new one or assigning an already created one.
8. Ability to reassign an attendant under that outlet to another outlet

The user can create a new Merchant by following the steps below:

1. Click on Merchant in the homepage
2. Click Create Merchant
3. Select Merchant type
4. Enter Merchant TIN (for large businesses)
5. Enter Merchant First Name
6. Enter Merchant Last Name
7. Enter Merchant Email Address
8. Enter Merchant Phone Number
9. Enter Merchant Business Name
10. Select Merchant Language Preference
11. Select Merchant USSD Preference
12. Select Merchant Risk Level
13. Enter Merchant Bank Code
14. Enter Merchant Account Number
15. Select Merchant Business Category
16. Select Merchant Country
17. Select Merchant Region
18. Select Merchant Subregion
19. Enter Merchant Location
20. Select if Merchant is allowed to allow Multi-currency
21. Select if Merchant is allowed to allow Manual PAN Entry
22. Click Create Merchant
23. Upload Completed

The report dashboard shows the following:

1. Graph showing successful and failed transactions.
2. Total transaction Volume
3. Total Transaction Amount
4. Top Performing Merchants
5. Least Performing Merchants
6. Payment Application Statistics showing Live Applications, Active Applications, Activated Applications and In-Active Applications.
7. Table showing transactions along with the merchants that carried them out, the transaction volume, value and status
8. Table showing the list of merchants, number of users, number of outlets, total transaction volume, value and status

The transaction section shows the transaction of every Merchant. The user is able to access the following lists:

1. Transaction ID
2. Device ID
3. Merchant Name
4. Amount
5. Date and Time
6. Status
7. Transaction Receipt

Users can view users and the user management in this section.

To use this section the user follows the steps below:

1. The user clicks Users from the Menu bar
2. User can view the details of the Bank Staff on the Portal
3. User clicks open to view details of a particular Bank Staff
4. User selects the things a particular bank staff can do by ticking the box.
5. User can edit roles of organization’s staff

To create a new user the following steps need to be followed:

1. User clicks the on the New User icon at the top right of the screen
2. User enters email address
3. User enters Phone number
4. User enters the user role
5. User ticks the boxes to select the role of the new user
6. User selects create user to complete the process.

Audit Logs shows an insight into all the activities and action that are done on PayContactless by the Bank Staff, Merchants and the User.

Under Role Management, the user can view the following details:

1. Role Name
2. Role Description
3. Created by
4. Number of users
5. Date Created
6. The roles can also be edited and updated by clicking on the open button on the row of that role
7. New roles can be created by clicking on the new role icon at the top right corner of the screen.

To create and update Roles the user follows the steps below:

1. User enters the Role Name
2. User enters the Role Description
3. User ticks what the new Role Name can do
4. User clicks Update Role

This contains the list of supported APIs and security patches.

The details of the APIs include:

1. OS name
2. API Level
3. Status
4. Date created

The details of the security patch includes:

1. Patch ID
2. Service type
3. Status

User can view supported app versions here, along with the Version Name, Status and Date Created.

‍

Under the approvals module, the user has the permission to approve or reject the following:

1. Blacklist Device
2. Enable Device
3. Single Merchant Creation
4. Bulk Merchant Creation
5. Update Merchant Details
6. Create Bank User
7. Create Merchant Admin
8. Delete/Disable Users

‍

When a device is blacklisted by an admin, the bank admin in charge of the maker checker role needs to either approve or reject the action.

The bank user can also select multiple actions and approve or reject at once.

This applies to every other action listed above.

If the action is not approved, it will not take place.
